The field-proven Tonax™ Coax Tone Generator is optimized to tone on coaxial cable systems as well as for phone and data cabling. The compact and rugged Tonax includes a high-power tone generator mode that enables tracing through un-grounded splitters or to equipment as well as tracing terminated or shorted coax cable. Probe mode is used for conventional tone tracing. The low-power tone
generator mode supplies tone voltage and current comparable to common tone generators. The POTS simulator mode supports line voltage, line current, and dial tone functions with a talk battery performance that performs better than common tone generators.
